PSAT and SAT @Franklin 10/17/25

All Franklin 11th and 12th graders will be taking the PSAT or SAT at school during the school day on Friday October 17th. Students should bring their computers (and chargers).

All Juniors and Seniors are automatically registered at no cost and strongly encouraged to attend. Questions? Please reach out to Jim Jeffreys, FHS Testing Coordinator: jrjeffreys@seattleschools.org

Benefits of taking the PSAT:

National Merit Scholarship Program: Eligibility for the National Merit Scholarship Program, a prestigious academic competition. To qualify, you must take the PSAT/NMSQT during Junior year and score in the top percentage of test-takers in Washington state. High scorers can become Commended Students, Semifinalists, and Finalists who compete for scholarships.

Additional scholarship programs: A high PSAT score can also make you eligible for other merit-based scholarships
