| Classes start on Wednesday, September 2nd, 8:50 AM to 3:40 PM (no early dismissal for the first day). Skills Center classes also start on September 2nd.
9th Grade and new student orientation is on Tuesday, September 1st, time to be determined.
9th grade and new student orientation for parents is on August 31st at 6:00 PM.
A note: this is a Collective Bargaining Agreement year for educator contract negotiation. Seattle Public Schools and the Seattle Education Association have a recent track record of not coming to agreement before school starts. There is potential for a strike. Follow information from SPS and from the SEA to stay on top of negotiations. |
